This one sounded really good when you described it in class the other night. I downloaded it in epub, and I'm putting it on my phone so I can read it. I'll letcha know what I think when I finish!

This book will stay with me forever. The book is full of passion, desire, greed, sex, tragedy, war, and love. With this book, Ms. Brooks has sparked emotions in me that I have never felt. Well done! Frank Cantwell

I agree with Mr. Cantwell. History came alive and I felt like the characters were real people.

I really enjoyed the unique view on history. You can draw a very interesting line between Ancient Crete and Classical Sparta that gives Helen and Bronze Age politics a whole new perspective. I also laughed out loud when I read the part where the whole Apple of Discord story was just something Paris made up to impress Helen! Awesome!

I would so like to live in ancient Minoa as Helen describes! What rich and colourful storytelling this is! The author certainly has a way with words, and with making history come to vibrant life.
