Elsa is born with an unusual and very special connection with her mother. Harvest of the Heart is a 5/5 It's a book written by a talented writer. You feel empathy for Elsa even when you don't always agree with her methods. It's full of suspense and mystery and you find that you don't want it to end because it's such an enjoyable read. Due to ill health I had to stop reading halfway through but as soon as I picked it up again I could remember exactly what was going on, there was no need to backtrack and look up who was who because of bad characterisation, no need to try and work out what was going on due to bad plotting. To me this shows just what a good book it is and how well written it is. I'm hoping Michael carries on writing and I can get to read more by this excellent author.
