"Possessed with Glory" is a fictional story about Joey Goulak, a young man from a large religious and very poor Slavic family. A first-generation American, Joey's Midwest beginnings in rural Saginaw, Michigan include several close calls that were averted by his so-called 'Big White Bird' or 'his guardian angel'. Is Joey psychic? What is the meaning behind his frequent dreams?

Joey enters the military and studies hard to become a P-51 pilot with the help of his girlfriend, Betty. After earning his wings, Joey is stationed in England during World War II and sees a lot of action in the European skies. He is ultimately knocked out of the sky and winds up hidden in the basement of a French farmhouse, under the care of a French family.

Once rescued, he returns to be hospitalized in England and the U.S.A. where his debilitating wounds are miraculously healed. Joey earns several combat medals including the 'Medal of Honor' bestowed on him by President Harry Truman.

With WWII over, Joey finally is able to marry his sweetheart, Betty and they settle in Chicago. Will the 'Big White Bird' continue to guide Joey?
